Labor and Birth Doula Support:

Parenthood is an amazing world full of excitement and challenges. Every detail matters, starting with  the pregnancy. Anyone who is embarking on this wonderful journey needs to feel supported. It would be great if you consider having a doula with you as your body and mind transforms in these nine months leading up to the birth. I’m someone who you can share your feelings with and help you achieve a positive birth experience.

 

As a doula I will be there to provide exclusive attention during labor, delivery and childbirth and add expertise and knowledge to your experience. I will be extra support to stand by you throughout it all. Whether you are doing this alone or with a partner. Doulas are meant to be comforting advocates and help you feel more comfortable with the medical team. I will be prepared to step back if you need some time alone as well.  

 

The most important step of choosing your doula, in addition to their qualifications, is to have a genuinely deep connection with them. During labor and birth, your doula is going to be a familiar face for you and be there to clarify, encourage and reassure you emotionally and physically to prepare for the big moment. It’s ideal if you’re able to choose the one that has the same beliefs as you and that brings out your inner confidence.

LABOR AND BIRTH DOULA

  • 2 Prenatal visits, approximately 2 hours each

  • Discuss your dream birth and prepare your plan

  • Discuss your preferences and expectations of my services

  • Prepare your hospital bag

  • Labor and birth emotional and physical support for you and  your partner 

  • Pain management alternatives

  • Breastfeeding support

  • Preparing home and organizing nursery

  • Provide community resources

  • Unlimited availability to answer any questions you might have by phone, email or text before and after birth

  • 1 Postnatal visit, approximately 3 or 4 hours 

  • Discuss how you feel about the birth experience

  • Discuss how the baby is doing and the household adjustments 

  • Answer any question you may have about newborn care

  • Discuss your healing and recommend any alternative techniques if desired

  • Help with any other task you may need support with

Postpartum Doula Support:

Welcoming your precious newborn home is a new beginning and I feel so honored to be a part of this pleasant phase of your life. It’s a beautiful moment that definitely involves a transformation of  lifestyle and requires a lot of energy. You don’t need to go through it by yourself. I believe that everything should be as natural and smooth as possible and I’m here to help.

 

As a postpartum doula I’m going to be there for your family in this transitional period after the baby is born. The ideal postpartum service is providing physical, emotional and informative support regarding the postpartum period and the new baby. Having an experienced and trained professional doula can help you feel relieved and reassured so you can rest and take some time for yourself knowing that your baby is safe and well taken care of. 

 

My goal is to increase parents’ confidence and make the puerperium an enjoyable experience for the whole family. I will listen to your needs and wishes with a gentle approach of guidance and be as helpful and flexible as possible. I will respect your environment and be an unobtrusive presence. I have a deep understanding that every parenting experience is unique and I'm sure you’re going to be an amazing parent to your baby, just the exactly way you are.

POSTPARTUM DOULA

  • Daytime, evening or postpartum hospital support 

  • Newborn care 

  • Guidance for safe and healthy sleeping habits 

  • Breastfeeding support

  • Baby’s equipment and products referrals and personal recommendations

  • Educate about any questions you may have

  • Baby’s laundry and tidying of baby’s nursery

  • Wash and sterilize bottles and pump equipment

  • Helping prepare simple meals and snacks

  • Household laundry and light cleaning in common areas 

  • Run errands

  • Help with community referrals 

  • Working on making the routine smoother and more manageable 

  • Unlimited availability to answer any questions you might have by phone, email or text

Travel Doula Support:

If you have a trip to attend with your newborn baby during the postpartum period I can provide 24/7 postpartum doula support for you and your family so you can enjoy every moment. This service includes a period of break to be agreed between both parties. Also flight, accommodation, meals and arrange extra care during doula time of is families' responsibility. We can work together to arrange the best scenario for your necessities. This service is based on my full availability so to increase the chances of success it's recommended that you schedule it in advance.

TRAVEL DOULA

  • 24/7 support 

  • Newborn care

You dream about it and together we make it happen.

Daytime support:

  • Minimum of 4 hours per day and           3 days a week 

Evening support:

  • Minimum of 4 hour per day and                 3 days a week  *Until max 10pm. 

​

Full Time support

  • Maximum of 12 hours per day and       6 days a week

  • Contracts can not be transferred to another party.

  • Any doula service can be gifted, previous consultation required. 

  • Doulas are not medical professionals. For a health-related issue, you must contact your healthcare provider.
